EBRAINS Summit 2025

The EBRAINS Summit 2025 is set to be a transformative event for the neuroscience community, offering a platform for sharing cutting-edge research, exploring new technologies, and building cross-disciplinary partnerships. Hosted at The EGG Conference Centre in Brussels, the summit will feature a diverse programme, including keynote talks by Professor Rafael Yuste (Columbia University) and Professor Onur Güntürkün (Ruhr University Bochum), as well as interactive sessions, poster presentations, and hands-on workshops.

The summit is designed to connect researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and healthcare innovators from across Europe and beyond. It will focus on key themes such as AI-driven neuroscience, digital twins of the brain, and the future of brain health, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and open science. The event is organized in partnership with the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF), reinforcing its commitment to FAIR data management and international cooperation.

Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster sessions and live demonstrations, with selected presenters having the opportunity to win awards and deliver plenary talks. Early-bird registration is open until 29 September 2025, offering flexible ticket options for students, researchers, and institutional partners.

The EBRAINS infrastructure, originally developed under the EU-funded Human Brain Project, continues to support researchers in understanding the brain at all levels—from molecular processes to whole-organ analysis. The summit reflects EBRAINS’ mission to bridge disciplines, accelerate scientific discovery, and translate research into real-world impact in medicine and neurotechnology.
