Der SNF hat im Februar 2015 insgesamt 21 SNSF Consolidator Grants vergeben. Vier davon an Forschende der Universität Zürich, wovon zwei der Medizinischen Fakultät angehören. Prof. Sebastian Jessberger vom Institut für Hirnforschung erhält einen SNSF Consolidator Grant für sein Projekt „Elucidating the Role of Lipid Metabolism for Life-long Neurogenesis in the Mammalian Brain“. Prof. Anne Müller vom Institut für Molekulare Krebsforschung erhält einen SNSF Consolidator Grant für ihr Projekt „Exploiting the immunomodulatory properties of Helicobacter pylori for the treatment of immunological disorders“.
