Field of Action C – Professorial Appointment

Increasing the proportion of women in professorships is a central task for the Faculty of Medicine UZH. For the Equal Opportunity Commission MeF UZH, the task is to support the structural and appointment committees in their work.

Goals

  • Stable increase in the number of female professors and the number of women on academic governing bodies

Measures

  • Inclusion of questions regarding equal opportunity in recruitment interviews.
  • Provision of video material for appointment committees on the topic of implicit bias and equal opportunity
  • Reporting and exchange between the professorships department and Equal Opportunity Commission on professorial recruitment figures
