The doctorate serves as proof of the candidate’s ability to gain new insights through independent scientific research in the field of humanities or natural sciences.
With regard to the doctorate, the dissertation may be submitted no earlier than two semesters after the completion of the degree.
Experience shows that the duration of the doctoral studies generally ranges between one and four years.

Topic: “Submitting your dissertation: Tips from the Dissertation Office”

We invite all interested doctoral candidates and their supervisors and advisors to attend.

We will focus on the following topics during our meeting:

How do I submit my dissertation? When will I receive feedback? Why was my work rejected? Where can I find specific information on the medical faculty website? How does MedTool work and what do I need to bear in mind? The Dissertation Office is regularly asked these and many other questions. Some questions are repeated. For this reason, we would like to offer you the opportunity to find out about the frequently asked questions and also to ask us your individual questions.
