About Clinical Science in Dental Medicine

The PhD program in Clinical Science in Dental Medicine offers a university-level postgraduate qualification in the field of clinical research with a focus on dentistry. It is aimed at highly motivated and academically outstanding applicants with a strong interest in clinical research. This internationally oriented program allows for an in-depth scientific exploration of clinical questions in dental medicine.

The program focuses on the study of healthy and diseased oral tissues as well as prosthetic treatment in a clinical context. The individual clinics place specific emphasis on their respective areas of specialization.

The PhD-Programm Clinical Science in Dental Medicine consists of original research as well as of a curricular content with mandatory and optional modules of at least 12 ECTS points, for which a minimum of three years in full-time employment is scheduled. However, in justified cases exceptions may be authorized by the doctoral program commission.
